About JEE Advanced
The second stage of the Joint Entrance Examination, or JEE Advanced, is the common entrance exam for engineering admissions to the prominent Technical Institutions like the IITs, IIST, IISERs, ISM Dhanbad, and others.
The Joint Admission Board is the organising body, and one of the seven IITs each year serves as the organising IIT. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allotment Authority) handles the counselling and seat allocation for admission into different IITs.
